After about an hour of use today the power light would blink as well as the display. In other words the video was perfect for about two seconds lost power than it would come back for about two seconds and blink again etc. Continuous issue?

Rcharby622, LCD monitor may need servicing of it's "switch-mode-power-supply/CCFL inverter supply to find the one (1) bad thermally intermittant component solder joint or have the BAD low or poor quality (short lifespan) electrolytic filter capacitors replaced on the units SMPS.
