Power outages, surges and fluctuations may induce circuit damage to most electronic gadgets. You can try to use an electronic tester and check if there is still continuity within. If your projector has a reset button, you can try to reset it to the defaults and see if it will fix the problem. If all else fails, you have to consult your local repair shop and have it fixed then.
