After connecting projector and laptop, turning on projector and then the laptop, the projector will show Windows booting on the projection screen, but then the projection screen goes blank, and then the NO SIGNAL message appears. We then turn the computer off and back on, and try again. If it still doesn't work, we turn the computer off and the projector and try restarting the projector and the computer. After a while it will work. We suspect that the 15 pin video cord needs to be replaced. Any other ideas? Thanks!

check the resolution your have selected in the laptop. if u are using windows
right click on the desktop select properties and select settings. in setting window reduce the resolution and apply it. close the window and then try again.
If then also problem remains purchase a good quality VGA cable
