After finishing mowing my lawn the other day, my mower leaked (dripped) gas from beneath the bottom of the carberator. What should I do to get the leaked stopped?
Ok, first thing you need to do is check your oil. Make sure no gas has gotten into the oil. if it has then be sure to drain it. carberators today are really having problems with very tiny dirt particles making them malfunction. after cleaning my carb 3 times in one year and having to change the oil each time, i decided to get a 6 dollar fuel shut off valve. i cut the fuel line and installed the valve. when done mowing i turn the valve off and have not had a problem since. in fact i have put a valve on all my small engine equipment.
