After hqaving been on and then turn off. when I try to start , it won't start. I cranks but won'y come on. I turn off key. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then turn the ket on again it starts if I press on the accelerator

You have to press accelerator,for a fuel injection if you have to press accelerator the problem reside in your idle air control, before you decide you want to clean it out or replace you' ll need to inspect the air filter because you have to step on accelerator you are allowing more air to flow just to start it
