After I broke a needle on my Kenmore sew machine 385 17622090 I installed a new needle but now my bobbin thread won't catch. Very frustrating

Possible that when the needle broke ,the needle/hook timing was changed
take it to a sewing machine repair shop and have it checked and adjusted
