After I cleaned my ovens the top one doesn't heat anymore. I was told that the circuit fuse button has to be reset. We can't locate it. Can you please help? The model umber is: Thermador SCD302TP
To address your post, looking for an over-temp cut-out tripped. Here`s what and where to look for for this,
Fortunately if it is tripped, they are the manual reset type and are accessible behind the black grill/vent just above the lower door ( just below upper door) next to the lock latch assembly.
**Turn off the 40amp breaker at your service panel or sub-panel in the home before attempting any service...safety first**
With the power off, you should be able to remove the grill and push the red button in the center of the thermostat and that should fix your problem...as shown here, If indeed the hi-limit is tripped you`ll know immediately because you`ll feel it click as you push it down. It will look like the image below...
Other than that if you call in a pro, I'd suggest you be sure they are an authorized B/S/H/ service provider ( B/S/H/ is the parent company for Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Siemens products ).
Hope that answers your question and gets you back up and operating. Good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)
I hope I caught you in time. I made an oops ! I was checking on the status of this post when I realized I had totally misread your post and the info I provided is for the lower oven, not the top.
**The top oven hi-limit reset is as follows...It looks the same as my initial post. Make sure the power is off as stated before...safety first**
It is in fact accessible almost exactly like the lower oven as I described except it is below the control panel behind the grill where the lock is located.
Sorry about any confusion I may have caused and again, I hope I caught you in time to save any unnecessary screw and grill removals. Good luck.
