It is installed wrong went thru start every 4 months for 2 years till they figured it out. Go to a dealer and have them check it out. That was my problem.
It is possible that the Tach/RPM monitor circuit (an integrated system that informs the RSM [remote starter module] that the engine has started and is running) is malfunctioning or is not properly connected, hence the continuous effort of the RSM to start an engine that is already running, causing damage to the cars starter and possibly other circuits and/or wiring. Return the car to the installer and have diagnostics ran on the Tach/RPM monitor circuit. Your system may have a hardware or programing choice that will allow you to decide between a tached or tachless operation, depending on the model that is installed. I hope this helps...Good luck
