After installing newly charged batter when I turn
After installing newly charged battery into camera, I turn camera on a yellow flashing sign appears on battery and then camera turns off. Is batter not charged correctly?

How old is the batt.? I purchased a digital camera and after 2 months the batt. went bad. Have had it now 2 years and several batt.later.
