After start up and connection the image begins to display noise and lines. The image "noise" becomes increasingly severe as the projector warms up until the entire picture is distorted with snow and flashing, blinking distorted image. The bulb and cable are fine as both have been switched out and the problem remains the same. Connection to different laptops yields the same problem. The image is better with cool down and reconnection but does not last long. The projector is lightly used and very well cared for. Thanks
The fault seems centered on to the DLP(digital light processor) , it can be the fault off the dlp or the relative circuit to the dlp. Now this being a very sensitive circuit it will be necessary that you can concentrate to check on the outside. Since the lamp and power was identified to be working perfect, the fault can be the mother board. Now remove the mother board fittings, reset all connectors making sure that all connections are in order. If the fault is staying on , you must try to swap the mother board/DLP unit. Possibility that there is an errors in the processing is quite high and must be confirmed by this swap...Please try this somehow as it is best to test to confirm before you replace. Contact Optoma if the working hours are less then 1000 hours or six months as it is covered by warranty. Finally make sure that all the settings on the menu , brightness settings etc are correct.

Upon setting up your equipment it is very important that you turn on the projector first. You will see a blank projection image, now turn on the computer, (confirm your cables are connected properly). When using a lap top computer you may need to disable your computer's display screen. First locate the "function" key at the top of your keypad that reads "LCD", "CRT" or it may have an icon that resembles a computer monitor. By pressing the "FN" key and the corresponding "function" key you will be able to obtain the image from the projector only. This is known as "toggling" the image. If the problem still persist, replace the 10m HDMi cable.
