Hi, I apologize that you are having issue's with your computer. Lets see if we can get this issue resolved. Be sure the tower is unplugged during cleaning.
First, if you haven't already done so be sure to use a can of compressed air to remove any dust from the graphics card as well as any other components inside the computer case.
Second make sure the graphics card is still properly seated into the AGP slot. Gently but firmly press down on the graphics card to ensure proper seating.
Once you have completed these two steps plug your tower back in and turn on the system. If you continue to see multicolored lines across the screen that means that the Graphics card will need to be replaced. If you need any other help or need further clarification please don't hesitate to respond.
