Air conditioner thermostat problem
This is going to sound strange, with the cover of the thermostat works fine, it brings the temp down to setting that you set it too. But when you put the cover back on the temp on the thermostat keeps going up, so it never shuts off,any idea"s? thanks.

This sounds like a short circuit that the cover is making with something. Take a close look at the contacts, wires and how close the cover comes to them.
