Air releases from the bleader valve as soon as i turn the unit on and continues to releaseis this normal?
Hi as soon as I turn this compressor on air is continually releasing from the bleeder valve and is constantly blowing is this normal?

No you need to simple tighten the bleeder valve on the bottom of the tank. Its there to release moisture and manual says to drain after each use. I drain mine weekly if I've been using it. It prolongs tank life by preventing rust.
The air loss he is speaking of comes from the check valve,,,,I know because I purchased this compressor also,,, I removed the fitting and took out the bronze filter placed a BB in the fitting and replaced the bronze filter,,,, the BB will slow the air loss and still sllow the air pressure on the compressor side of the valve to vent so the compressor will start up again without having to fight the tank pressure,,,thought this was a bad design and I don't like venting all the air I am paying to compress,,,
