AKAI TV Repair Question
Hi aeroboy1963,
I noticed that you were one of very few people who were successful at fixing the AKAI LCT2701TD TV, so I was wondering if you could elaborate on how you fixed it.
On the forum at: http://www.fixya.com/support/t313562-akai_lct2701td_tv_no_picture you mentioned that you replaced zener diode Z3, some resistors and 4 capacitors. Do you remember which two resistors those were? Were they the tiny R65A and R65B right next to the z3 zener diode?
Your response will be greatly appreciated.
Kris

If Z3 was shorted, there are 2 surface mount resistors that were damaged when Z3 became shorted and they have to be replace as well. The reference designator for the resistors is R65A and R65B, their value is 10 ohms and 1206 is the body size of the resistors.
