Alarm says terminals corroded
It is only 5 months old and it constantly goes into alarm and says "terminals corroded or replace battery". The terminals are clean as a whistle and I can't believe the battery is bad. I press the reset button, it does a run cycle and the alarm resets but an hour later it is back in alarm. What gives ???

One of two things:
Somewhere in the wiring you have a weak connection and it is interpreting it as a bad battery or corroded terminals. It could even be where the cord goes into the sump pump. You will have to search it completely to find it.
The alarm itself is bad.
