Hi there,I wonder if you could help me on this..I have a pair of Alesis M1 Mk2 active speaker monitors and about one month ago on of the speakers was on and suddenly turned off. It was on but i was not listening to music or anything and then it just switch off.. I opened and everything look fine so I didn't know what was the problem. I sent the speaker to Alesis and they are asking me for £70 repair. Apparently the problem is the power supply and the PCB Assy, which I think it was fine as I didn't see any tosted component or anything damaged.. I guess they can't bother to check the capacitors or repair anything and they just opt for change everything. Well, my question is if you think is worthy to go with the speaker to a local engineer and see if he/she can repair for a cheaper price as £70 is almost what it cost new in the shop...Thanks a lot in advanceEliseo
