Alesis m1 mk2 active emits low pitch hum and does not work
Low pitch hum came about after driving the monitor hard and it got pretty hot, i think the driver is ok but as soon as i switch it on it bgins to hum

You need to take a closer look really, see if anything on the power supply board inside has melted, burned, popped, etc.
