Alesis Masterlink, hangs on "restoring defaults" after power up. Re-initializing does the same. I have OS on CD, but can't get past this one issue to re-install. I bought it new several years ago and until this issue, it worked fine. Any suggestions?

Do not allow it to restore defaults. Press power just as it begins to, them turn it back on and it should allow you to just insert the disk.
