Alesis Sr 16 stopped working altogether
It broke as I was loading midi data from cassette tape (I had to turn the volume up very high as it was finding as the drum machine was not recognising the tape signal). then it just stopped working. I have tried it with a different adapter so thats not the problem. any ideas?

I have never experienced this problem, but I know that you can reset the SR-16 to all default settings by doing something like holding down play when powering up. Try that & I'll look into the matter and get back to you with a definite answer. Peace and good luck until then.
