Ouch. This is probably going to sting a bit. If the drive is not recognizable by all the computers you have connected it to - it is probably not going to allow you to retrieve any target="_blank">software that may get the >download page.

If that target="_blank">having the data retrieved by a company that does this work professionally. This will probably have the most successful outcome, but will come with the highest cost as well. Many companies offer free evaluations for this service.

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management disc management right click on the drive select properties tools check now tick in both boxes to scan for and attempt to repair/recover any bad sectors and automaticall fix any corrupt files
or tick in one box wait until it has finished then return and tick in the other box
do not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage your hard drive
