Get a new belt from an autoparts store, to suit your vehicle year and model. The alternator has to be loosened to fit the new belt. There's usually two locations to loosen the top adjuster clamp arm; and the lower pivot bolt. On the 4cyl motors its in behind the oil filter. Uncertain about the v6. Once loose, the alternator can be swiveled so that the belt will fit over the main pulley. Make sure that the alternator does actually rotate. If not, get it serviced or replaced. Swivel the alternator back down and tighten the clamp arm so there's about 8-10mm of movement when you press the belt. Tighten up the lower pivot bolt. If you don't have the tools or skills to do this, have the car towed to a garage.
