Amcor unit is vented outside and drains water. Compressor kicks on and off. No matter how low i set the temp the compressor only blows cold for approx 8 minutes. Then warm air. Whats wrong?

Check the location of the thermostat sensing tubing. It should be in the middle of the fins on the evaporator. It must be clipped to the fins tightly to sense temperature. If it has developed a leak, then the only fix is to replace it.
