Amilo pi1505 will only read sd card not sdhc
I have a Kingston 8gb sdhc card but my amilo pi1505 does not show it in my computer and i can't open it, when i put a normal sd card in to the reader slot it reads it ok. does this mean that it will not accept sdhc cards

Correct. The PI1505 will work with SD cards but not with SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in devices not designed for them. You can get a SDHC-compatible card reader which plugs into the USB port.
