Amp c352 TI 1515456 failure
Hi, i was recently testing out the systems speakers (QUAD) as i had been told one of the speakers had blown. on removing the cable from one speaker and inserting in the next the music stopped playing. the cd player was alright but the amp now had an amber light just above the power switch rather than green. tried several times to switch off n on but no joy. please assist

It sounds like yo shorted the speaker wires together for a short time and smoked the output section of the amp. The amber light is an indication that the amp is in protect mode. If you attempt to power up the amp and still have the amber light even with all speaker wires disconnected, the amp needs repair. The output transistors for that side will need to be replaced.
