Amp cutting out
My amp cutts out for a second or two after about 15 minutes. Originally i thought i wired my amp and subs wrong but this is not the case. The amp does get warm. I have my gains turned almost all the way up and I dont have a farad cap. Could one of those cause this?

Sounds like your amp is over heating. it wouldnt have nothing to do with a power cap as it would just die. your making your amp work to much. look into bying a line driver as this will boost the volume going into the amp wich will also make the subs louder
