Amp not switching on again after switched off for 10 minutes
While driving the amp works fine. After stopping for fuel or shopping, the amp only comes back on after 10 minutes or sometimes half an hour later depending on how long the amp has been playing. The longer the amplifier has been turned on, the longer it will take to play again. There is power on the amplifier, the lights are on, but no sound. What could be the problem?

Also could be that the power wire and earth wires going to amp are to thin amp could be heating up and could be going into protection mode. Will switch on after it cools down what gauge wiring are you using?
