Amps turn off and cut out
Hi, i have two amps in my car, and they are run off one power wire. Sometimes they will both work for awhile and then cut out and eventually shut off. One is a kicker subwoofer amp and the other is a jensen 400 watt 4 channel bridgeable amp for my rear speakers. When i first installed them they worked fine but would sometimes shut off and when i removed the in line fuse in the power wire and put it back in they would come back on. Is there any way i can fix this? do i need to run seperate power wires to each amp?

You just gotta get your gains set up right. Look Up "How To Set your Gains with a Multimeter" your over powering your subs or speakers and your amplifiers cant keep up. you also have to make sure your speakers are wired to the right ohms. your amp cant handle. if your amp cant handle, for Example:1 Ohms your gonna blow your amps. ......Speakers and subs are a science too.
