Answering a question
My 2007 Jaguar XK shows a fault light in red and says Hood not Latched my back windows won't go up and it has been raining the pass three days and my car is soaked can anyone help me because the convertible top will not go down and if the top does not go down the windows will not go up..

The sensor for the latch may be shorted or water is in the sensor, the sensor is most likely attached to the hood latch and to verify that just look for wiring and the latch and follow it to the sensor for the hood latch.
