Antigua Plus 56" blades brush light bowl & fan wobbles too much
The down-rod seems to be too long and the fan wobbles way too much on medium and high speed. The clearance between the bowl and fan blades is practically nil if the bowl is installed firmly, causing the blades to scrape the bowl with every revolution. There also seems to be no balancing kit with this fan and Home Depot hasn't been much help so far. We love the fan but it isn't functional so far.

I learned that your Antigua Plus 56" Ceiling Fan was manufactured by King of Fans, a reputable company out of Florida that offers great customer support for their fans.
King of Fans website is: http://www.kingoffans.com
There are 3 FAQ's to read that can help you there about wobble, the proper size of the down-rod, and the fan hanging straight. Also the fan's description tells you what should be in the product's box. There should have been a balancing kit!
If you do not have your Owner's Guide, you can download it free! At any rate, carefully peruse it and follow the guide instructions, it seems that something has not been properly completed and or parts are missing. If parts are missing call customer service at 1-800-330-3267, and concisely describe the problem. I have found them to be wonderful at their customer service over the years.
Regarding the clearance between the bowl and blades, my first guess is that the blades may be installed either upside down, not pushed in fully, or pushed in too far. Regarding wobble, be sure to check page 9 of the Owner's Guide.
Best of luck! Your fan is gorgeous!
