Take it to the service center it will be little bit costly but they will also decode the unit permanently.so no problem in the future.just once for all.
pls do rate the solution
thanks.

Try this on:
Open tray and press 8 4 2 1 (you will see -'s appear top left of screen) Menu appears for region and Macrovision, Use up/down keys to select Region/Macrovision. Use Enter to change region to 9/Macrovision on/off.
Hope that helps........
Hi,
- Open the Disc tray and leave it open
- Next punch in 8 4 2 1 on the remote.
- now you see Region code put it to "ALL REGIONS" by pressing "ENTER" not "9".

An possible alternative for region free setting of an Apex AD-1200:
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
Hi again,
Appreciate the feedback.
As far as I can gather, the 1201 has a slightly different firmware on the same chassis of an AD-1200. coolguy008 has posted a link here that details the two different versions of the same AD-1200. He was kind enough to post the first probable region free code, my posting was a probable alternative both from the same source here. Since the alternative did not address your concern, perhaps coolguy008's posted method might just do the trick.
Cheers.
Hi,
Open tray
press 8 4 2 1 (you will see -'s appear top left of screen)
Menu appears for region and Macrovision
Use up/down keys to select Region/Macrovision
Use Enter to change region/Macrovision on/off
A PAL region 2 disk played fine when switched to region 9 (Really region 0 , ie region-free)
Have not yet tested Macrovision
