Aprilaire 440 Solenoid clicking
The solenoid valve opens up ok when the furnace comes on but begins to have spasms, clicking on/off rapidly for about 5-10 seconds before shutting off. Very annoying. I have replaced it once but the new one is having the same problem. The Furnace was replaced this summer (Acroaire 90+) so I am wondering if this old humidifier is simply not compatible with the new furnace. I checked the wiring and it seems to be wired as per instructions. I am willing to get a ne humidifier but scared I’ll have the same problem if it is originating from the furnace. Any help is appreciated. Bob
