Aprilaire 600 solenoid does not with wires on ''H'' lugs
Aprilaire 600 solenoid does not work when the output wires from ''H'' are used. This brought me to replace the original solenoid that I now realize was not defective.
When solenoid wires are jumped to ''R C'' it works just fine.
Is my controller bad? Dad always said, ''The more options you have, the more things that can break.'' I'm referring to the ODT sensor and the whole concept of ''automatic''. I have a humidistat that has been wall mounted for years that worked just fine. I may look to re-route the wires to that controller and save buying new parts.
I have a 2-stage Goodman furnace and have the fan set to ON.
