Are my settings wrong? I have an Adesso Z12 tablet. I use the pen as a brush with Photoshop. Once I have established where the pen is on my monitor, I can make single line changes to photos. However, once I lift the pen off the tablet, I have no idea where it will set down again on the picture. The "brush" does not move with my hand when not in complete contact with the pad. Making one sweeping movement does not work if I want to make several small strokes to enhance a photo. Not knowing where the pen is going to set down on the picture means that I make unnecessary errors, like strokes where they don't belong. Did I miss something when setting this up? I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. several times. Nancy

That is completely normal, you haven't gotten used to using the pad. I was just looking at a review of the pad and the author writes
" The tablet worked well. It took me some time to get used to how a tablet functions as it is very different from a mouse. When I picked up the stylus from the tablet, and moved it to the right or left, and placed it back down, it was though I was drawing on a paper, and so the drawing would start in a new area, rather than where I "left" the mouse cursor. There was also a disconnect for me, as I continued to look down at my position, only to not have any real information without looking at what I was doing on the screen. I think this would change after some use, but for me, it was a strange feeling."
There is a toggle button on the pen that allows you to stop it from drawing. You can read the review here http://www.forevergeek.com/2009/07/adesso_cybertablet_z12_review/
So it seems the tablet is working normally, but it is not a mouse. It will take you some time to get used to it. The program might have settings that you can adjust that might help or make it easier to use. But don't expect too much. It will take time to master the tablet.

I'll do some checking, in that case... and get back to you soon.
