Turn the ice machine off. Your might have to remove the front cover in order to find the switch to turn it off.
After the ice machine if off, you need to empty out all of the ice from the ice bin.
Once all the ice is out of the bin, there should be a rubber stopper or something that drains the water tank on the top middle of the ice bin. Remove the stopper and allow all of the water to drain from the reservoir.
Once all the water is drained put the stopper back into place and if the machine fills up by itself, then make sure you turn the water off. Pour a quart of lemon juice into the reservoir.
Turn the machine to wash with the lemon juice for 30 minutes.(if the machine sounds like it is struggling and a little water until it no longer sounds like it is struggling to pump water.)
After the lemon juice has been washing for at least 30 minutes, turn the machine off and drain all of the lemon juice from the reservoir.
Put the stopper back in and allow the reservoir to fill up with water. Once it is filled up turn the machine back to wash for 5 minutes. Turn the machine off and allow the reservoir to drain.
Put the stopper back in and allow the reservoir to fill up. Once filled up turn the machine on to the ice setting. Allow the ice to drop twice so that all of the lemon juice is sure to be out.
Turn the machine back off and empty off of the ice out of the ice bin. Take the stopper out and allow the water reservoir to drain completely.
Once the water reservoir is drained, put the stopper back in. With the second lemon juice bottle pour it into the spray bottle and spray the entire ice bin down. Wipe down and dry it out.
Turn the ice machine on to the ice setting and you are back in business.
