As I'm driving along the road---vehicles hesitates
As I'm driving along the road---accelerating and getting to about 52-55 mph the vehicle hesitates--several times, seems to happen also when an incline in the road. Any ideas on what could be happening? Had it in to repair--nothing shows up, but the problem is getting worse

The symptoms your describing would indicate burnt valves to me. Do a compression test, it should tell you for sure. If any of your cylinders are off by about10% or more that will confirm it, you'll need a vavle job.
