Have you replaced both filters? remove the canister and turn the unit on. feel at the inlet hole or under where the canister sits. If you have suction there and you installed new filters check in the hose for a clog, shine a flashlight at one end if you cant see the light use a broom handle or something similar (nothing sharp that will puncture the hose). If the hose is clear check where the hose plugs in to the brush head. sometimes cloggs can occur here. While you are at it you should throw a new belt on it if you havent changed it in the last 6 months.
