At some time during playback the sound breaks up - continues like thatfor a minute or two and the n reverts to normal

The Humax is approx. 5yrs old. Is this a fault which can be fixed or is it terminal?

I recently repaired the PSU in a 9300 which was having sound issues. Replacing the PSU capacitors fixed it.
