Atari 2600 problem with left control plug on console
I have an Atari 2600. The problem is with the left control plug on the console. I've tried different joysticks. The joysticks work on the right side, not sure with the paddles or the keypad.
On the left side joysticks donot work; the knob on the paddles work, but not the red button. The keypad works fine as far as I know. What is the consoles problem, and how can this console be repaired? Thank you for your time.

Well maybe the controller ports need to be resoldered then try soldering then with a solder iron.
