Attaching (VV-283F) Vivitar 283 foot
I just bought a Vivitar 283 replacement foot.
It does not come with instructions but, it looks like I need to solder wires to foot? The replacement foot has a blue wire already attached.
When I unscrewed old foot, there is a red wire and a blue wired soldered to foot. Do I cut them off old foot and then solder blue wire that comes out of the Vivitar to the new blue wire attached to new foot and solder red to the foot?
Is there an easier way? I don't have a soldering gun.

Use Red wire to Center.Use Black wire to Ground.Other two, just insulated [email protected]
