Automatic "shut off" not turning off
Hello, I have a Hoover SteamVac Spin Scurb. I have just used it for the first time and noticed that when the recovery tank was full the automatic "shut off" came on and the suction was reduced. The owners manul says that when this happens to empty the recovery tank and then put it back into the steam vac and it should resume cleaning. Well I emptied the recovery tank and once clean I put it back into the steam vac and I still have no suction. I have checked many times to see if I replaced the recovery tank correctly and it is correct. I am wondering if there is something else I need to do to get the Automatic "shut off" to turn off so that I can resume cleaning. Please help me . Thank You.

Check the filter in the tank, if a dual V model you will have a screen, if not a dual V move the foam filter down about 1/4" to help. The lid on either model needs to be securely in place, as well as locking the left and right latches. On the Dual V model, check the hose door on the front.
