Autopilot shows "no rudref"
- Raymarine Smartpilot ST6001
- Installed on 45ft Power Catamaran
- When autopilot is engaged, display shows "No Rudref" and goes back to Standby
- Electrical connections checked and appear to be OK
- Would like a concise troubleshooting procedure to isolate the problem and repair (is it a faulty rudder position sensor?)

How do connect my autopilot
The rudder sensor works like a light dimmer, so you get 5V and ground on the outside two connections and a varying voltage between about 1 and 4 volts depending on rudder position
