Avaya 34d Will not power up when plugged into wall jack but does when plugged into the proccessor...Does it require all 4 wires to run or can it operate like a standard phone and just use the 2
All Avaya Partner phones require 2 pair or 4 wires to operate. They cannot operate on only 1 pair or 2 wires. The middle pair sends the voice signal and the outside pair sends the power to the phone.
