2 times a day the 5610 handset loses the commection to the VCM Module on the Avaya 406 across the VPN and the phone has to be powered on/off to recover
My situation involves two phones using the built-in VPN functionality, Avaya 500, NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS338. One phone actuallly on our network goes out to the internet and back in via VPN. The other phone is on a home network using some type of long-range wireless system (off-site employee working from a rural farm). Our main site has two bonded T-1 circuits for our data.
Our solution seems to have been to change the SA-Lifetime on the router to 432000 seconds.
