The office I work at has 4 phone lines. Within the last month or so, whenever 2 of the lines are in use, my phone which is sitting at my desk untouched starts making the "off the hook" noise.

I'll pick it up the reciever and hang it up but with no luck. The off hook tone will not go away. If I'm lucky, it'll occasionally turn off when I press the "speaker" button on and off but it'll turn off for a min or so and goes off on a tangent again.

Has this happened to anyone? Would you think this is an issue with the phone itself or could something be wrong with my phone line?
