Backup and restore
I created a full backup of my XP system in preperation to re-install Windows XP, which has never been done before on this PC (even after 5 years!). About restoring from the backup the booklet instructs me to boot the system using a CD previously created.
To create a boot disc I'm told I will need the original instillation disk plus product key.
I have the product key but only have a Product Recovery CD for Windows XP.
Is this sufficiant and if not what can I do?

That should be it. It is a OEM disk that has Windows XP on it.
Computer specific operating system recovery cd and product key is all that you will need to do an original system restore.
You can just install with window xp but take data backup in another drive
