I'm constantly sew on sewing machines, I got this cute Barbie mechanical sewing machine for my daughter (6) so she can sew with me. Unfortunately, the machine WILL NOT sew. I have rethreaded, adjusted tension, put in a new bobbin, and test, test, test. It has problems picking up the bobbin thread and then it will not create that sewing magic to stitch. The feed dogs work, the needle goes up and down, with a long thread on top of fabric. The bobbin thread does not advance, which I wonder could be the problem. I have taken the bobbin out flipped it over, re threaded, test again...same problem. Why won't this stitch? It is breaking my daughter's heart as she and her younger brother have made plans of projects to sew...
