Bathtub single handle faucet had not been used for a few months. Now when you rotate to hot water posiiton, there is no flow. Cold is normal. Hot water works fine at nearby sink & otherwise. Did an internal part of tub faucet become blocked with deposits?

Yes, and hopefully piece's of the cartridge's rubber have not come off and lodged in the water port's.have had this problem quite a few time's.remove your cart' and while it's out, run water to flush out the valve body.shine some light in body before re-assembly.
