You can't recharge them. they are dead and if you could they wouldn't last. You will have to spring for 2 new batteries. Check with an Interstate battery outlet and purchase 2 U1 sealed batteries for your chair charge before use and charge daily for 20 days to break them in. Some "smart chargers" will not charge if the battery voltage is way low.
