Battery goes flat
Over a period of 2 days the battery goes flat if the engine is not run. alt is charging and battery tests ok. if one of the 40 amp fuses is removed from the fuse box on left inner wing the discharge stops but the vehicle cannot be started til the fuse is replaced.the dicharge is about 1.7 amps.not sure exactly what the fuse does but there are no dash cluster warning lamp when the fuse is removed.its about the 4th fuse down on the left side of the box

Go to the library and get the motors manual for your year, make and model. Look in the electrical section for this circuit. That will guide you to find the device that is running and killing your battery ... 40 amps is a big circuit in an auto.
