Battery light I hAve a 2010 ford transit and the battery light came on so I went to have the batter tested and it tested bad so I replaced and it didn't fix the problem so I figured it was the alternator so I replaced the it as we'll and it didn't fix the problem and I seen that this van has problems with the wire loom that goes to alternates so I purchased from dealer and replaced and it still is on! Any suggestions?
Need to check for system operating voltage..should be around 14.5 -16.. this could be why the light is on..also may need computer ecm memory erased..these computers always need the prior codes erased after any work is done.. failure to do so will cause lights to come back on..
